MUSLIM ONLY
The role:
Complete technical and commercial responsibilities for projects assigned including order handling, design and tendering necessary assistance to the projection / sales group.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Preparation of schematic drawings, wiring tables, fabrication drawings, etc.
• Discussions with clients, obtaining approval for submitted drawings, etc.
• Coordinate with other project functions.
• Technical support for project managers.
• Preparation of design documents
• Review of sub-suppliers’ documentations
• Progress reporting
• Support for local manufacturing whenever applicable
• Preparation of all drawings including as-built drawing for projects

Field of experience:
• Design of primary engineering of HV / EHV substation layout design, design of grounding, design of duct bank / transformer foundation, etc. 2 – 5 years.

The criteria: To qualify for the position, need to have:
• A university degree in B. Sc. In Electrical Engineering
• Excellent communication / presentation skills
• Good command over English language
• Knowledge of MS office


2. SENIOR PLANNING AND SCHEDULING ENGINEER SAABB/PSS-SPE/PH/2010-01
MUSLIM ONLY

The role:
To plan and carry out direct project planning, scheduling, progress measurement and control activities, so as to develop, maintain and improve time schedule, resource plan and other planning reports, in accordance with project requirements.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Develop, maintain and improve periodic updates of project schedules, resource planning and progress measurements and control reports as required by internal and external clients.
• Develop, maintain and improve periodic updates and follow-up of weekly look-ahead schedules on engineering / design, procurement / material delivery, civil works, installation, commissioning and other project deliverables e.g. outage works, training, spare, etc.
• Develop, maintain and improve periodic updates of accurate project progress measurements of planned against actual activities.
• Develop, maintain and improve periodic updates and monitoring of plan and actual projects manpower resources.
• Develop, maintain and improve periodic updates on critical path activities and recovery plans as necessary.
• Active usage of project databases (PIRS InfoControl and DocControl) for all electronic communication, capture, collection and storage of complete project related documents and records such as letters, faxes, emails, drawings, etc.
• Regular visits to project sites and vendor / manufacturers to collect and verify progress status.
• Active participation on project review meetings.


Field experience:
5 – 10 years experience in planning and scheduling.

The criteria: To qualify for the position, need to have:
• A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 – 10 years or more full-time experience in planning, scheduling and controls of EPC projects on HV / MV substations, transmission, distribution and capacitor banks projects installations, etc. using MS Project and Primavera.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English language
• Expert user of planning / scheduling software like Primavera, Microsoft project and in using MS office applications like MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point Presentation, etc.


CANDIDATES WITH MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES EXPERIENCE MAY ONLY APPLY

• LEAD COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
10-15 years in testing and commissioning for substation projects.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge in commissioning of switchgears and relays.
Able to build and maintain customer relationship.
Knowledge of international safety standards.

• PROJECT ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL
5-7 years in installation and commissioning of substation projects.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Ability to supervise and monitor the site labor force.
Responsibility to solve any unexpected technical difficulties or problems at site.
Familiar with computer management systems and able to maintain customer records.
Problem solving skills and able to work under pressure.


• SALES ENGINEER
5-7 years within Kuwait market for HV / MV products.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of MV switchgears, transformers, apparatus and electrical network.
Basic knowledge of project management.
Have negotiation skills.
Problem solving skills and able to work under pressure.


• PROTECTION ENGINEER
7-10 years in substation maintenance projects.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of all types of protection relays in substations.
Ability to supervise battery charger maintenance and guide.
Knowledge in safety regulations and material specifications.
Problem solving skills and able to work under pressure.



• JUNIOR INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL ENGINEER
2-3 years in installation and maintenance of electrical and / or I&C systems.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge in field instrumentation and process control.
Basic knowledge in adaptation and troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
Able to use AutoCAD, Eplan, VorCAD for the preparation of engineering and design drawings.


• SITE MANAGER
10-15 years in installation and testing of substation projects.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in power systems and substation projects.
Management experience of a sizeable team.
Knowledge of international safety standards.
Ability to implement actions to explore all possibilities and eliminate / minimize problems at site.


• ELECTRICAL FOREMAN / SUPERVISOR
5-7 years in erection and commissioning of substation projects.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized board / educational institution or equivalent.
Experience in power systems and substation projects.
Basic knowledge in testing and commissioning of relays.
Ability to study and understand the schematics.

• LEAD INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEER
10-15 years in installation and maintenance of electrical and / or I&C systems.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with PRO Control, P14 DCS or any other ABB systems.
Knowledge with power plants control systems.
Ability to run the project from design, engineering until commissioning phase.
Basic knowledge in design, adaptation and electrical troubleshooting electrical, I & C and mechanical equipment.
Management experience of a sizeable team.


• INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEER
5-7 years in installation and maintenance of electrical and / or I&C systems.
The criteria to qualify for the position, you need to have:
University degree in B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in field instrumentation and process control.
Knowledge with power plant control systems
Basic knowledge in design, adaptation and electrical troubleshooting.


Qualifications :
Candidates must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers, good command of English language and must have knowledge of MS Office. Candidates must also be cooperative, determined, creative and a team player.



• Project Managers
 A university degree with Electrical Engineering related studies.
 10-15 years of relevant experience in installation of MV/HV substations including switchgears, control and protection panels, capacitor banks, LV panels, cabling, etc.
Excellent communication skills in English


• SALES ENGINEER (ROBOTICS)
Field of Experience:
Industrial Robotics, Electromechanical Systems
3–5 Years.
 A University Degree in B. Sc in Engineering
 With Mechanical / Mechatronics or Control System background.
 Excellent Communication / Presentation skills.
 Good Command over English & Arabic.
 Knowledge of MS Office.
